Yulia Volkova specializes in international arbitration and litigation in Ukraine, with a particular focus on disputes in the oil and gas and renewable energy sectors, as well as on banking and financial disputes.
She represents both Ukrainian and foreign clients in complex matters before national courts in Ukraine. Moreover, Yulia has significant experience in handling commercial and investment arbitration proceedings under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC), International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICAC at UCCI), London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce and under the arbitration rules of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).
Yulia places particular emphasis on matters related to the collection of evidence and the valuation of damages resulting from the war in Ukraine. She actively advises clients on available international legal mechanisms for seeking compensation, including the submission of claims within the framework of investment treaties, and provides comprehensive legal support throughout the recovery process.
